FS Expo price increase coming

Flight-Sim Expo 2019 is coming up in just under a month now. If you’re on the fence about coming to Flight-Sim Expo 2019 in Orlando Florida this year, now may be the time to jump in as prices are increasing tonight. Plus, we now have a good look at the floor arrangement for the show and I’ve got a long list of booths to check out!

Price increase, overflow accommodations

There were 1,100 attendees last year at FS Expo 2018 in Las Vegas and this year the event appears to be at least as popular. When I went to book accommodations I found out that the reserve block in the hotel had been sold out. There’s a huge number of hotels nearby so accommodations is not a problem but it does speak to the popularity of the event.

ORLANDO – May 14, 2019 – FlightSimExpo event registration rates increase tonight! Make your plans to attend the event and register today at www.flightsimexpo.com for just $70. Prices increase tomorrow.

Registration includes two-day tradeshow floor access, panels and seminars, a conference bag, drinks and appetizers, and a 6-month membership with the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA). For pilots, the event also offers an FAA WINGS – Pilot Proficiency Program seminar hosted by the Orlando FAAST Program Manager.

FlightSimExpo is excited to be welcoming more than 60 exhibitors to Orlando on June 7-9.

The discounted room block at Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld® is now sold out for peak nights. Attendees hoping to stay on-site are encouraged to check room block availability. For nights showing unavailable, attendees may be able to purchase full-priced rooms through the hotel. FlightSimExpo is also pleased to offer discounted room rates at multiple overflow properties.

FlightSimExpo takes place on June 7-9, 2019 at Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld®. More information, sponsors, registration, and the schedule is available at www.flightsimexpo.com. For information on airfare and travel discounts, nearby discounted attractions, and discounted FBO fees for pilots, visit www.flightsimexpo.com/venue.html.

Also included in the latest press release for Flight-Sim Expo 2019 is a map of the exhibitors.

I will of course be checking out 1C Game Studios booth for IL-2 coverage at the event. I’ll also be visiting Laminar Research, X-Plane.org, Thrustmaster, Orbx, and people have asked me to look at Honeycomb Aeronautica for their new yoke system. If I can I will be doing my best to check out everything.

See something on the list that you’d like me to report on? Let me know in the comments!

No booth for the Deadstick sim? I hope that isn’t a bad sign. I’ve been looking forward to that one for a long time – I thought at least early access was imminent.

They don’t appear to be on the list. If I find out more I’ll be sure to follow up.

I think they are a small English outfit so maybe the trip was too far for them to go.

That makes a lot of sense. Still another title for me to check out at some point.

Hey! My name is Jon and I’m a solo developer heading to FS Expo from WI. I got on the list late, but I’ll be showing Roger Meatball and Cats Fly Helicopters. You can find them at RogerMeatball.com and CatsFlyHelicopters.com. RM has a free demo, and I can get you a beta key for CFH if you’d like to check it out early 🙂 My games are on the casual end of the flight sim space, but I’m hoping the community will find something interesting about them. I hope I meet you there!
