Chuck’s DCS: F-16C guide is nearly here

I can’t count how many times I’ve gone from a paused DCS World game to over to a PDF containing Chuck’s Guides for any number of procedures for the high fidelity aircraft of DCS World and I’m sure there are plenty of you out there who have done the same. If you’ve been waiting for his DCS: F-16C guide, you’re in luck because he’s nearly finished his work on his guide for that aircraft. This is what we know.

Looking for the correct procedures, the right sequence of buttons to press, or just need a refresher on some small little detail, Chuck’s Guides are probably the thing you’re looking for. Although this new guide weighs in at 475 currently, I’ve always found Chuck’s guides to be concise and easy to understand. So every word, image, and diagram has likely earned it’s place in this guide.

In a post on r/Hoggit, Chuck posted the following:

After months of hard work since last January, the first iteration of the F-16 guide will finally be released on Mudspike on May 11.

Looking forward to May 11 when the guide releases. In the meantime, head over to Mudspike.com and check out Chuck’s other guides. Maybe throw him a few dollars on his Patreon account for his efforts!

Without Chuck’s guides, no DCS for me. He is a true hero.

I’ll have to look up his harrier and F-18 guides, assuming they exist.

For the moment I’m hooked on Grim Reapers tutorials which have been a huge help.

Ooo exciting! I finally broke down and bought my first DCS module during this sale. The F-16 falcon . . . followed that up with the Persian gulf map. I’ve been using Youtube to try and figure out WTH all those buttons do.

Chuck is vital. Thanks for the heads-up, and the reminder to contribute to his Patreon like I’ve been meaning to do! His work allows me to revisit a youth spent studying flight sim manuals at midnight, sitting in front of a pause menu. For that, he has my gratitude.
