    Free trials and sales… I guess they want us trying & buying their stuff.

    Haven’t seen any word about a Steam sale though.

      Yeah, they want people using their website to avoid Steam royalties. I’d do it if their DL speeds weren’t absolute garbage.

Dears, yesterday i gotot the cofirmation of my order being completef and adviced me to install the DCS WORLD first in my pc ,doing so was successfully done but still under updating process since yesterday due ti its huge MBytes of 97121..so am asking your kind end is that logical and normal or some thing ubnormal going on
    Kindly advice me

    I bought the.M-2000 product and as beingn advised i installed the basic DCS WORLD which being successfuuly loaded in my pc but yet the systematical updating still on going “seems endless” since one week ago and covered all the versions up to 2.11 it’s acrazy process with a huge size of GBytes ..and yet got no reply to my continious emaies addressing by the dedicatef technical support as well as the customer services .

      Hi Salam,

      Sorry to hear you’re having some technical issues. I’m not a technical support line so my abilities to help you are are limited.

      I’m not really sure what you mean by version up to 2.11. The current version of DCS World is 2.7. There are two installers, one for open beta (oddly enough, in DCS World, that’s the most popular version) and another for the public or “stable” release. Both can be downloaded here: https://updates.digitalcombatsimulator.com/

      Download size is immense depending on the number of modules you have installed. My DCS World install with about a dozen modules and maps installed is over 300GB. Initial download won’t be that much but it will be substantial.
