A teaser posted to VIRPIL’s social media and forum is teasing a new piece of hardware that might of interest to flight sim pilots. A contest is underway to guess the new hardware’s purpose and win a chance to get the first production model.

What is it ?

A new piece of hardware is coming from VIRPIL. They want you to guess what it is as part of a contest that they are holding to win the first iteration.

We’re very excited that soon a brand new device will be added to our device line up – to celebrate this new release we will be holding a global competition!

The main prize of the contest will be the very first unit off the production line – serial number 000001!

Announced by Cypher on the VIRPIL team

A correct guess will enter to you into the prize draw. Guessing the second follow up question will apparently also be awarded a 5% off discount code. The prize will end on the 3rd of February at 23:59 UTC+0.

Check out the forum post for more and stay tuned for the reveal coming at the end of the week.

Well it’s the only logical conclusion since other kinkier alternatives aren’t available in the list of options.

It’s clearly a VR headset. You can tell by the rudder pedals.
