Twin-engine Douglas attack aircraft are a theme this weekend with the A-26B-51 Invader being announced as an addition to the War Thunder aircraft lineup. The introduction of this version of the Invader brings an extremely powerful mid-tier attacker for the US tech tree – and its not a premium aircraft either!

The forward firepower is immense with 14 forward firing .50cal machine guns and twin .50cal turrets top and bottom. Needless to say, this is an extremely potent attack aircraft. It also has fourteen HVAR rocket mounts and the ability to carry 4000lbs worth of bombs.

This aircraft will come in War Thunder Patch 1.67 – coming soon according to the War Thunder Devs.
