Jason Williams, IL-2’s Lead Producer, has put the call out for a Japanese language translator. With Battle of Kuban production fully underway, it’s clear that some elements of research for the follow up Battle of Midway product are fully underway.

Translating parts of manuals, cockpits and the like are likely to be among the services the team needs to make authentic recreations of the Japanese naval ships and aircraft of the Battle of Midway.

1CGS has an immediate need for a TRANSLATOR to help us translate Japanese language reference materials for airplanes, ships, weapons and equipment etc. into English. This will include books, drawings, websites and any other documentation we have or may acquire in the coming months.
