Earlier in the year, Eagle Dynamics re-released the Su-33 as a separate module with some enhancements to the Su-33 that has been available in Flaming Cliffs 3 for a long time. That module has already been released but for Steam store owners there was still a wait. Now, this module is available on Steam.

You don’t need it twice

To be clear, if you own Flaming Cliffs 3 directly through Eagle Dynamics OR via the Steam Store, there’s no reason to buy this. If you already own FC3, you already own the Su33 along with all of the latest enhancements.

If you don’t have Flaming Cliffs 3 and you just want the Su-33 then this is now a route to buying just this one aircraft.

Keep in mind that the Su-33 is finished to Flaming Cliffs level of detail which means it has no clickable cockpit and its avionics and other systems are somewhat simplified. On the other hand, it now has a beautifully done Professional Flight Model (PFM) which is the best that DCS has to offer and arguably one of the most nuanced and detailed flight models out there.
