IL-2 version 3.001 releases tomorrow

Breaking news from 1CGS! The master server will be offline for a few hours tomorrow while they conduct maintenance and launch version 3.001!

Tomorrow it is!

Here’s the official word:

Dear pilots!

Master server will be offline for a technical maintenance and an update to version 3.001 on March 14th from 09:00 to 13:00 GMT.

That’s about as official as it gets! The long awaited and somewhat delayed release is now just 24 hours away.

I’ve got plenty of content planned to discuss new features, aircraft and a more formal review of IL-2: Battle of Kuban coming in the near future!

      I’m very pleasantly surprised. I was thinking it might be next week but here we go!

      Will definitely be posting my thoughts on the patch. Going to be very busy the next few days but I’ll definitely be writing a lot!

    Yeah, I was not expecting a release quite that soon. Wonder how bogged down their server will be tomorrow.

      Their update system is bit torrent based so hopefully with more people updating the better it will be. Fingers crossed!

    Are we sure that this is going to be the game update? Reading that line again, it could be interpreted as just the server being down in preparation for 3.001
