New screenshots and a video are out for the impending addition to the DCS: Syria map showing off some of the scenery and landmarks being added to Cyprus which is now part of the DCS: Syria map. There’s also a new video for us to have a look at. Check it out!

New details

Over a dozen new screenshots of Cyprus have been added by Ugra Media on their corner of the DCS World forums. The scenery enhancements to the DCS: Syria map include a variety of new buildings and landmarks including resorts and hotels that dot the coast.

There’s also a great looking helipad located in the mountains and other buildings and bits of infrastructure that dot the map. Further evidence that DCS: Syria is a great map for helicopter pilots!

Just in-case the screenshots weren’t enough, here’s a video that they also released showing off some more of the scenery.

Expect these updates to come in a future update to DCS World. Given the progress on display, I think we’ll see that update soon!

See all of these and more on this thread here!

Yeah, forget flying. How long until we get DCS: Waterslides? 😀

  4. Pics look wonderful – the detail in flight sims is getting mind boggling

However I do hope there is a VR toggle added which eliminates elements of the models

The LOD slider is ok but still does not solve FPS problems on the Channel map

Syria is just about ok for me but much more taxing than the other maps – but also looks better

And can’t upgrade my 2080ti to a 3080 or 3090 for love not money currently – always out of stock!
