The latest Microsoft Flight Simulator release from Carenado is the Cessna 182RG. This retractable gear Cessna 182 is a bit of a unique variant and its one of the classic airplanes of early Flight Simulator versions. Here’s what it comes with.

The usual array of features

With a retractable gear undercarriage, the Cessna 182 RG is a rarer type in the pantheon of Cessna airplanes. The retractable gear means higher performance, with the RG reportedly able to hit 187 kts. This is the latest GA type to be offered by the team at Carenado.

Features for this release include 8 liveries (plus a blank white livery), a variety of avionics including the GMA340, GNS530 and support for both PMS50 and TDS GTN750/GTN750Xi. There’s the standard Carenado table with the ability to set aircraft state, open doors, and select avionics options. There’s also the usual Carenado modeling and texture work which is amongst the best in the industry.
