A pair of big updates for Just Flight products announced yesterday with both their F28 Professional airliner and their Hawk T1/A Trainer seeing some substantial updates with lengthy changelogs. Let’s have a look at the highlights!
F28 updates
Just Flight calls the recent v1.2 update for the F28 Professional ‘mammoth’ and the change log certainly reflects some significant updates to the product.
The changes include a completely reworked flight control system for all flying surfaces that include failure modeling for hydraulic systems. The same kind of work has been put into the landing gear and braking systems when systems fail. There are added features to the EFB including options for automatic jetway connections when converting the passenger door to jetway configuration. There are also changes to the autopilot, VOR and ILS test functionality, and many more. The whole change log is available here.
Also, because I love visual updates, this update also adds F28 Mk.1000 Braathens S.A.F.E livery and F28 Mk.4000 Linjeflyg livery.

Hawk updates
Just Flight’s Hawk T1/A Trainer meanwhile goes up to version 0.1.8 with a shorter list than the F28 but still some noteworthy updates.
The flight model and autopilot have both been tuned, the EFB now supports SimBrief flight and view summaries including a scrollable full OFP, a new notepad function lets you scribble notes, an interactive checklist works in addition to the MSFS checklist, and various other improvements have been implemented.
There are also some bug fixes including fixed chocks that were floating off the ground, controls being clickable through the GPS screen, and the rear cockpit’s RPM needle animation solved.
Big and small updates all around and you can read about them here.
