Announced today via Laminar Research’s X-Plane social media accounts, we now have confirmation that X-Plane 12’s price will be going up on October 31. Here’s what you need to know.

Price is going up

Announced at the beginning of the month, Laminar Research let us all know that the current $59.99 USD pricing on X-Plane 12 would be changing soon. Now we know via official announcements that that price increase will be happening on October 31st.

Final call before our first price increase in over a decade! X-Plane 12 will go up to $79.99 on October 31st.

The change has also been reflected in a notice on the official Buy-It section of the X-Plane 12 website.

So, if you had thoughts of purchasing the latest version of X-Plane 12, you have a couple of days left before pricing goes up to the new normal.
