Warbird fans have a new option coming up from the folks at Aeroplane Heaven. This time its the classic Hurricane Mark I, the workhorse of the RAF during the Battle of Britain in 1940, and its aimed at release before the end of the year.

Hurricane announcement

On the Aeroplane Heaven Facebook page you’ll see their latest announcement – a Hurricane Mark I for Microsoft Flight Simulator.

We are delighted to announce the Hawker Hurricane Mk1 for MSFS. It should be available before Christmas and we are also hoping to have it on Marketplace. Much to do but nearly there.

Aeroplane Heaven are short on the featureset for this airplane. However, I think we can extrapolate what they plan to do by looking at their product page for their Spitfire Mark I. Optional modern avionics, custom tailwheel coding, authentic liveries, and more – if the two products have feature parity and it seems likely.

In the screenshots we can also see an RAF fuel truck complete with hose and removable gun bay hatches revealing the Browning .303s in the wing. Neat! Stay tuned for more information!
