Coming in at £34.99 (plus VAT) on their store or roughly $45 USD, iniBuilds A300-600 looks set to take on the heavyweights in the MSFS airliner market with a long list of features, multiple variants and doing it at a competitive price. Here’s what is available!

Persistence, freighter, airliner Airbus

It’s now available in the iniBuilds store – their Airbus A300-600. The release comes with both freighter and passenger variants, sporting a highly detailed exterior and interior, an EFB, an extensive sound set and systems persistence for engine oil, tire wear, brake wear and more. It will also soon also have multiple engine variations.

The A300-600 is iniBuilds first sold airliner for the simulator. Although it builds on the related A310, which they developed and then made available for free to everyone through Microsoft, this paid release packs in more. From the looks of things, this new entrant has more detail, more and better sounds, and of course has the maintenance and wear and tear functionality that the free A310 does not.

Pricing and the market

Talking about pricing for a moment, iniBuilds have chosen to price the product extremely competitively within the marketplace. Coming in at £34.99 (plus VAT) that roughly $45 USD pricing puts it about in the middle of the market.

PMDG’s 737 offerings which most have been permanently discounted for months now at $59.99 USD with their cheapest, the 737-600, being offered at $34.99 USD. Meanwhile, Fenix Simulations A320 comes in at £49.99 or about $64 USD and Aerosoft’s CRJ bundle (with all four variants) is listed at €58.8 or $65.99 USD. FSS are selling their early access E-Jets for €33.57 or about $37 USD per-bundle (E170/175 and E190/195 are separately sold for the same price). The bargain option is Microsoft’s ATR 42-600 and 62-600 which come in at $19.99 USD.

It looks like iniBuilds have priced their product to sell and hitting that middle part of the market will likely make this competitive together with its extensive feature list. Of course, we’ll have to wait for a bit to fully gauge how successful this might be but it is likely to capture a fair bit of attention.
