The sheer number of aircraft releases for Microsoft Flight Simulator has reached a fevered pitch in recent months. While Microsoft and Asobo keep a steady supply of aircraft coming out, third parties have reached a kind of critical mass at the moment with projects that have been in the works for months and years are now all reaching fruition. Here are some that I missed and some that have just arrived.

FSReborn FSR500

Representing a Piper M500, the FSR500 from FSReborn is a small turboprop aircraft in the same category as types like the TBM series. This one has seen quite a bit of praise heaped upon it from the community and the trailer by AviationLads definitely presents it in a positive light as they tend to do.

It’s FSReborn’s FSR500 is sold exclusively through the MSFS marketplace for $32.99 USD.

The company also reports that their next project will be a Phenom 300. Speaking of…

Cockspur Phenom 100 and Citation C510

I haven’t reported on anything from this developer so I’m changing that up as of today. Developer Cockspur have released a few products for MSFS so far with two small business jets garnering a fair bit of attention. They released the Citation C510 over a year ago and their Phenom 100 has just been released as of a couple of days ago.

Features on the C510 include the usual array of features including high res textures and modeling. Avionics are the G1000Nxi. It also includes three configurations: Standard, High Sierra, and air ambulance. You can buy the aircraft from the Cockspur website for 24.99.

The Phenom 100 is the smaller sibling of the larger swept wing Phenom 300 and this very light jet is among the smallest of the business jets out there. The Phenom 100 is also available for purchase through their website for €26,99.

Flysimware Learjet 35A

Arriving in an early access state, Flysimware’s Learjet 35A has been another product that has been attracting a fair bit of attention. The business jet is legendary in the history of business jets and now it has finally come to Microsoft Flight Simulator.

There are three avionics packages available with the Learjet 35A Corporate coming with a custom GNS 530, PMS50 GTN 750 and TDS GTN 750 GPS integration. Eight liveries with a corporate interior on each are part of the initial release. More details and features are expected as the product matures. It’s available to fly right now for $39.99 through the Flysimware website.

There are probably more…

Aircraft releases happen often and there are probably some more out there that I’ve not reported on. Let me know in the comments what you’re flying that’s hot off the presses!
