A significant update is coming to Just Flight’s BAe 146 Professional airliner for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The four engine aircraft is set to receive a fairly substantial redress of its interior cabin area using technology and art developed for other projects. Let’s have a look!

Updated interior

Just Flight have learned a thing or two since the release of the BAe 146 Professional for Microsoft Flight Simulator. One of the sim’s earlier full fidelity airliners, the 146 is seeing some updates thanks to some other projects in Just Flight’s pipeline. The key driver behind the update is the Avro RJ, a modernized 146, currently also in development for Microsoft Flight Simulator. But its also borrowing technology and techniques developed for the F28 and F70/100 projects.

The new cabin will have a functional attendants’ panel with cabin lighting, seat belt signs, and door locks. It will also have the DR4100 Digital Player with the ability for you to manually select music options and play them in the cabin – or you can leave it up to the crew. While door controls still work on the EFB, you’ll also be able to interact with the controls in the cabin too.

Another option in the EFB lets you turn off the cabin entirely if performance concerns have you wanting to save as many resources as possible.
