The Fenix Simulations A320 for Microsoft Flight Simulator is consider one of the sims top airliner releases and the aircraft has just seen a major update with version 2, block 2 releasing today with a fair bit of hype around the community. Here’s what you need to know!
Moving forward with new engines

Some big changes are here for Fenix Simulations’ A320 and this block 2 release brings quite a list of fixes to the product as well as some new items too. The standout feature is the addition of IAE V2500 turbofan engine to the mix. Previously only the CFM56 was available so now the correct engine can be matched to the correct operator and livery.
Other new features include an updated EFB which moves up to version 2 and has been made more responsive and has new features like a send to MCDU functionality for take off performance and zero fuel weight information. It also has a new failures app, moved from the MCDU, with the ability to filter by armed failures and failed systems.
There are also hundreds of other modifications, fixes, adjustments and more.
The aircraft uses an external flight model and so for best results Fenix Simulations are also suggesting some specific settings to make the aircraft handle better. Those settings plus the change log and some other getting started with V2B2 information are all available on their development blog. Check it out!
