The TrueEarth Series of scenery packages from Orbx were something of a revolution when they arrived on the scene for X-Plane 11. Entire regions with detailed satellite imagery, hundreds of points of interest, and custom autogen combined together to make for some truly impressive imagery (at least until MSFS arrived). The TrueEarth series hasn’t officially been on offer for X-Plane 12 …at least until now with the release of Great Britain North.
TrueEarth returns

TrueEarth Great Britain North features 40,415 square miles of hand-corrected satellite orthographic imagery that has been, according to Orbx, reprocessed for X-Plane 12. There are 400 custom points of interest, 1.4 million buildings, and millions of trees in the region. A 30-meter mesh brings out fine details for natural features.
The area covered by the scenery package incorporates the northern part of the United Kingdom including the Scottish Highlands, Outer Hebrides, and Shetland Islands.
The product is a 20.64 GB download but after install and you’ll need an eye-watering 118.93 GB.
