Last week we saw an update from Just Flight talking about the status of the Fokker F70/100 project and then showing off the F100’s liveries. This week we’ve got some images of some of the F70’s liveries. Let’s have a look!
Colourful liveries, interior visuals
This week’s update is a follow-on to last week’s so we don’t really learn anything new about how well the development process is going. Instead Just Flight talk a bit about the F70’s history.
The short version is that, after the F100 development was done, Fokker attempted to offer a shortened, lower capacity, version of the jet that some carriers were calling for. Interest was tepid and only 47 were produced though 34 remain in service so the type has had a reasonably long life with the first examples entering service in 1994 and 1995.
Here’s the liveries that they are planning:
- Alliance Airlines – VH-NUO
- America West – N528YV
- Austrian Airlines – OE-LFH
- Fokker Services (House) – PH-MKC (Prototype)
- KLM Cityhopper – PH-KZL
- Malev Airlines – HA-LMC
- Netherlands Government – PH-KBX
- TUS Airways – 5B-DDF
- Tyrolean – OE-LFK
And this is what they look like!
