Well folks, a day that was long awaited by many an airliner aficionado has finally arrived. PMDG’s wide-body, long-haul 777-300 jet is now available for purchase. We have the pricing now so let’s go!

Ready for takeoff

PMDG’s product trailer came out a few days ago show off the wide-body airliner

The PMDG 777-300ER for Microsoft Flight Simulator has arrived and its packed with features and arriving at a relatively reasonable price considering the history of this type of aircraft in other simulations. The price? $77.73 USD. Just $8 more than their 737-800NG series.

PMDG’s 777 is packed with features simulating all of the aircraft’s systems from electrical, air conditioning, and break wear to its fly-by-wire system to failures of those and many other systems. PMDG have also made sure to model the service vehicles needed to service an aircraft of this size.

PMDG’s 777-300ER can be purchased on their website right now and will become available on the Marketplace as soon as Microsoft can add it to the mix.

  1. Oof! That works out to about $120Cdn with the tax. But if the PMDG 737 is anything to go by, it will be an excellent plane. I was very impressed by the 737. Is there supposed to be any crossover tech from the 777 going to the 737? I thought I read that somewhere.

Won’t be getting it right away, but eventually.

Yes they confirmed that some of the enhancements to core technology would flow over to the 737 eventually.
