The folks at SimWorks Studios are set to release their latest aircraft in the Van’s RV line that they have been working on for the last couple of years. After the RV-10 and RV-14 this latest aircraft is the diminutive RV-8. Let’s have a look!

Release coming up

Set for a release on August 1, SWS are set to offer both the tail dragger and tricycle variants of the RV-8 with both 2 and 3-bladed propeller options. Flight model and sounds are different depending on the propeller you choose. There will be 7 custom liveries, analogue and G3X cockpit options, GTN compatibility, FPS friendly aerobatic smoke, and a Paintkit with PSD, Blender and Substance formats. The paint kit is already available on the official product page.

Initial release will be on the SWS website on August 1 for €14.99 and on the MSFS Marketplace for $19.99 USD.
