The T-38A community mod for DCS World has its first, post announcement, development video update. This one talks about the EFM (external flight model) for the aircraft and teases some other projects that they have in the works.

Status update

DCS World has a couple of different flight model systems with the EFM being the option of choice for third party developers and also for mod makers. The system can be developed external to DCS World and then feed in appropriate behaviours for a given airplane into the sim. Veco provide an overview of how they are building a modular system that they have applied to mod aircraft used by a couple of the DCS aerobatics teams that are out there.

Check out this slick presentation on how they are aiming to provide a high fidelity DCS experience in a free community mod.

    Unreasonably excited for this one.

Have the Charlie for P3D – it’s QUITE a handful to fly 🙂

It should be good fun to fly! I’ll happily go canyon carving with something like this.
