There are unusual trends in aircraft releases across the flight sim community. Complex projects like an airliner can take years to develop and yet sometimes releases come all around the same time. The A330-900neo from ToLiss for X-Plane 12 comes on the heels of a couple of other A330 releases over in the MSFS world. Here’s the news!
Ready for release
X-Plane 12 has a new airliner and its from veteran developer ToLiss. The company is well known for quality releases with some of the most detailed avionics simulations in the industry. The aircraft comes with a detailed flight model, exterior and interior model, a HUD unique to the -900neo variant, Airborne Traffic Situational Awareness (ATSAW), Runway Overrun Warning & Protection (ROW/ROPS), DRAIMS for improved radio control, and more.
ToLiss has had some comments aimed at the product with some criticism of the interior texturing and the company has said that they intend to tighten up the artwork. Sounds are apparently middling as well and several community members have said that they will await an external sound pack to improve the overall experience. The exterior model meanwhile looks excellent and the product is being lauded for its detailed systems. More than one user has exclaimed “Finally, X-Plane 12 has a good A330.”
Here are some of the release screenshots.
