Released yesterday, veteran developer FSLabs has released their first Microsoft Flight Simulator airliner. Their A321ceo is aimed at the high fidelity end of the airliner spectrum.

Ready for release

Releasing for Flight Simulator 2020 first, FSLabs A321 has the usual array of features with high resolution textures, sounds and deep systems simulation. This A321ceo looks to differentiate itself by also offering up some unique weather effects such as icing and deicing procedures shown off in this first video.

Systems failures such as cockpit window heating failure is also simulated. This second video shows the effects of that (which I can’t embed because of a setting on the FSLabs YouTube channel). A third video released recently by the company shows off a series of other features such as a tech log and GPS jamming – the later which is an increasing threat to airliners in some parts of the world right now.

A free update to MSFS 2024 is planned as is a follow-on A321neo product. I’ve done some more reporting on FSLabs A321ceo and the company’s somewhat complicated history here.

FSLabs has priced their A321ceo for $69.95 USD + locally calculated VAT. Learn more on their website.

  1. Thank you for covering the release of the FSLabs A321ceo for MSFS 2020. You know while a lot of people have criticized the FSLabs A321ceo for being made and released well after Fenix did their own version of the A320ceo family, I praise them for making it as that will incentivize both Fenix and FSLabs to strive to outdo each other’s A321ceo. I think that once the A321neo is done they will do the A319ceo & neo, and the A320ceo & neo family members, while they work on their Concorde at the same time. The reason why I think this is because they have had a history of experience making the A319, A320 and A321ceo and leaving out the A319neo and A320neo would make no sense to do. But I am most certain that they will recreate their own version of the Concorde because that has proven to be a very popular addon in in P3D. They also announced an A330 for MSFS years ago, which has yet to happen but in a recent video they have hinted that they were interested in doing some sort of wide-body airliner, which I think is probably going to be the A330ceo. And since they have done the A321ceo, and are almost finished the neo, this may indicate a pattern from ceo first then neo next. They very well could do an A330neo. Whether they beat Fenix to the A330 or Fenix beats them to it that will be another thing! I am aware and sorry I have basically repeated myself from last time, but you won’t have to worry about that anymore.

    1. Hopefully FSLabs have learned from the past, offer some compelling options to the community and everyone gets to benefit from some impressively made aircraft.

Concorde would be nice to see!

  2. Just bought FSLabs yesterday, didn’t have a chance to try it, but here’s what I’m exited about:

    1. Airline Packs – this feature was amazing in P3D and Fenix doesn’t have it still. Not only a livery, but a custom airframe, announcements from crew etc. And giving, I hope, much more seamless integration with GSX, FSL Bus will have a lot more immersion
    2. MEL, GPS jamming and winter ops – basically a Russian pilot simulator, lots of stuff doesn’t work, GPS are jammed and tells you that you are in Brazil, snow everywhere… amazing!

Dear Lord, give me some free time this week…

    1. I hope you get some free time! Those are some interesting features that helps further distinguish this aircraft. Let us know how you get on with it!

  3. So right off the bat it feels better than Fenix. Displays are crisp and clear, EFB is very good, GSX is integrated deeply within all the features. Didn’t complete any flights so far, just a few loops around Frankfurt, but I like it. Reminds me of good P3D times)
