The A300B4 Professional is beginning to come to life reports Just Flight in their status update on the project. The penultimate update this week from Just Flight is focused on their A300 project focused on the earlier B4 model. Let’s have a look!
Cockpit taking shape

A selection of ten new screenshots accompany the new update from Just Flight’s aircraft development group. Throughout the year we’ve seen various updates showcasing individual sections of the A300B4 Professional as the project’s cockpit began to take shape. Now we’re seeing the sum total of their efforts with wider shots showing off the whole experience.
Just Flight report that the project is beginning to take life as the animation and lighting logic for what they say is close to 2000 separate switches, dials and annunciator lights. The systems are in the process of being programmed and they sound confident that we’ll be able to see some previews of the aircraft’s systems working in the next year.
We’ve not seen any exterior shots in quite some time, not since the initial reveal actually, and Just Flight say that’s because they have decided to substantially upgrade the exterior model and add a detailed cargo hold. Modeling is reportedly complete and texturing is underway.
Like with prior announcements, they say that development is still ongoing in MSFS 2020 and that they are committed to offering content for both simulators. That sounds like the A300B4 may be another airplane that ultimately comes to both 2020 and 2024!
Check out the latest update here! Stay tuned for tomorrow’s reveal too as we learn what Just Flight have been teasing throughout the week.
