Released late last week, Miltech Simulations Mirage 2000C rendition for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024 is now out and available for purchase. Let’s look at the details.

2000C ready for flying

Miltech Simulations M2K-C has come to MSFS touting high quality modeling, PBR texturing, fly-by-wire flight model, Echo 19 created sound pack, and a detailed simulation of the Mirage 2000’s systems. The aircraft also has 16 liveries representing several different nations and operators of the Mirage 2000.

Miltech Simulations has done some interesting work to give the type’s weapon systems a bit of extra punch. Visible shooting and tracking simulation of the S550 and R530 missiles, impact effects for the MK82 and GBU, CCIP HUD modes, gun effects, and chaff and flare effects too. Of course, this is MSFS and there won’t be any simulated damage done to targets but it certainly gives the aircraft a little bit more to it.

A version 1.0.1 has just released today and comes with some fixes including memory allocation issues, HUD brightness issues, tweaks to the flight model and visual details, and a nose wheel steering toggle effect as well.

The release also now includes a firing range 30 minutes flight time from Cambrai so you can practice your gun and bomb aiming.

Feature and patch notes are available here while the product information is available on the Miltech Simulations website here. The M2K-C is available for $29.99 USD.

  1. Now I maybe a little off topic here but I hope Eagle Dynamics will make a Mirage 2000C for DCS to compensate for RAZBAM’s withdrawal. I’d buy it.

  2. Militech’s Mirage has a better looking cockpit than Razbam’s in DCS, but the latter was released over 5 years ago.

You think so? Airplane instruments usually are high in contrast, but MSFS airplanes usually lack contrast and have a greyish tone over them. I like the DCS-version better. Probably the systems are also better on the DCS one.
