We’ve been hearing quite a bit from Just Flight in recent weeks and we’ve got a new update on their Fokker 70/100 project currently underway. Let’s have a look!

Fokker progress

The follow-on project to their F28 Professional that we’ve been talking about recently is the Fokker 70 and 100 airliners. These stretched and modernized variants are still flying in parts of the world and boast a much more modern avionics setup. Just Flight are busy implementing that into their project now.

The developers report that they have entered into a period of intensive bug testing and fixing. They are integrating and testing the EFIS, flight warning system, and MFDU screens. Work is also ongoing on the AFCAS autopilot system. They reference one testing run where the autopilot nosed them into the ground at the end of a 2 hour flight – these things happen in testing.

Most of the work is in the F100 with the F70 having a slightly different configuration needing its own testing regime.

They are also about to integrate all of the sound work into the airliner.

All good news as the project progresses. Looking forward to future updates. For now, read the latest here!

  1. I trust it will be a good plane to fly in MSFS once the plane is perfected.

Just Flight tend to take their time with their products, it’ll likely be a solid experience from day one.
