Another pair of Just Flight aircraft have just been upgraded to Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 standard. Both the Avro Vulcan B Mk. 2, K.2 & MRR and Hawk T1/A Advanced Trainer products have seen various upgrades to bring them up to compatibility level with 2024 while also introducing fixes and improvements for MSFS 2020 flyers as well. That’s not all as several more products are also in the pipeline.

Today’s upgraded products

Both the Avro Vulcan B Mk. 2, K.2 & MRR and Hawk T1/A Advanced Trainer have been upgraded by Just Flight. Both aircraft have received upgraded and updated levels of detail (LOD) for improved performance on both products. The Aera GPS used on the previous versions have been swapped out for the more capable G3X Touch GPS with more capabilities and the ability to import flight plans from both sim’s flight planning tools (and the sim’s own EFB in 2024).

Other more minor fixes and changes are listed on the changelog for the Vulcan and for the Hawk T1.

The Hawk T1/A Advanced Trainer is available for $50.49 USD while the Avro Vulcan B Mk. 2, K.2 & MRR (MSFS) is available for $32.99 USD through the Just Flight webstore. Both products are also on the Marketplace and will reportedly be upgraded as soon as Microsoft approves.

Next up

Just Flight are also reporting that their line of general aviation aircraft are due for the MSFS 2024 treatment shortly as well.

Next up should be the PA28 Arrow III, Turbo Arrow III/IV, and Warrior II MSFS 2024 compatibility updates, both for Marketplace and non-Marketplace where work is already well underway.

This was written in an update on the company’s Facebook page.

It’ll be nice to get back into the PA28 series once they are ready to go for 2024. That’s an aircraft that may also be due a re-review treatment on here as the product has changed quite a lot from the days when it first reviewed it. Just Flight, as always, keep on upgrading their products!

  1. Man, that banner shot of the Vulcan at the top of the article is unreal. They used to fly over my house when I was a young lad in England. They’d literally darken the sky with its giant wingspan. This is definitely next on my list (bought the F28 since your recent 🙂 ) I am still in awe at how our hobby has come along.

It’s a stunning shot eh! I’ve not picked up the Vulcan yet but it’s high on my todo list. Now that it’s in 2024 it’s even easier to make the jump.

  2. Woo hoo!

i heard about the Hawk, but not the Vulcan!

The Vulcan I got thru SimMarket on a crazy holiday sale, so will have to go see if the update is live with them yet.

but the Hawk I got direct from JF, so I was able to grab it from them yesterday and take a short flight.

this v2 rebuild was already excellent, with a transformative new flight model, but the new G3X GPS makes this addon a really serious contender for general cross country flights and such!

ive been flying the Piper Arrow III + REP in XP v12 – a superb experience!

I’m hoping the MSFS Arrows are improved as much as the Hawk has been. It’s like an entirely new addon 😁

Fantastic! I’ve been thinking I should get more of the lineup especially after getting fully sucked into the F28 and the Avro RJ (review coming eventually).

The Vulcan is high on the list but the Hawk looks awesome too.

I’m very much looking forward to the Arrow III update. It’s improved a lot over the years and I’m guessing this will make it even better.

      1. the Vulcan is a big beast, and tbh I haven’t ever flown it much despite having it since it released for XP v11!

I checked the SimMarket store today, still no update for the Vulcan, but that’s fine – it’ll be a long soon enough, I’m sure.

its a magnificent addon and I think it’s worth having even if for no other reason than to listen to the Vulcan Howl 😎

Meanwhile, the Hawk continues to get more and more attention from me in v2024. It’s just splendid!

One thing I’d love to see is the original BAe 146 brought forward to v2024. I’m sure they’re working on it, and I understand they needed to get the RJ out first, then all the other updates. All good.

But it’s just a bit “tough” that the 146 doesn’t work in XP v12, and now it doesn’t work in MSFS v2024. 😕

        Totally a First World Problem, I know…😂
