The newest Carenado release is now here with the F33A for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024. The general aviation aircraft sports the usual array of features from the veteran developer. Let’s have a look!
It’s a Bonanza… of general aviation
Carenado’s F33A, simulating a Beechcraft Bonanza F33A, is the latest general aviation aircraft that the company has released. Features include sound pack recorded from the real aircraft, 8 liveries (plus one white/blank one), compatibility with GTN750/GTN650 and GTN750Xi/GTN650i from PMS50 and TDSSIM, as well as default support for the GNS530/GNS430. As this is a Carenado release product (on their own rather than with Microsoft), it also comes with a tablet that includes the ability to swap out the different avionics systems in the cockpit.
Carenado releases are typically not deep simulations though the company says that they have used verified POH (Pilot’s Operating Handbook) data to inform their aerodynamic modeling. Their recently release Cessna 185F handles relatively well in the sim as well so this one may also represent a similar level of satisfaction.

If you’re interested in picking it up, Carenado are selling the F33A exclusively in the Marketplace for around $16 USD. It’s been released for MSFS 2024 and an 2020 release is expected imminently as well.
