Another significant GA aircraft series has made the jump to Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. Just Flight’s PA-28 family comprising several unique products has seen significant updates for 2020 owners and now making the jump to 2024 with its own native package as well.

PA-28 update

Just Flight have been steadily working on bringing their various product lines to Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 while also implementing significant improvements to the product on the whole. That means both 2020 and 2024 flyers will benefit and, better yet, the updates are free to current owners.

There’s an improved flight model with improved low speed handling, improved stall, new MSFS ground friction support, added CFD model support, and improved trim sensitivity.

The autopilot system has improved logic, performance optimization for avionics, improved visual effects, and improved model LODs (levels of detail) for improved performance there too. The latest update also brings in a new EFB that adds supports for Navigraph en route charts, ability to draw on the charts, and tidies up the interface and background technologies.

The full change log is available here for the Arrow III, here for the Turbo Arrow III/IV, and here for the Warrior II.

One feature not in this update is the walkaround mode from 2024. While you can spawn outside of the aircraft, tie downs and other features on the exterior of the aircraft are managed by the EFB as they were in 2020.

The family of aircraft are available with individual purchases of the following:

A sale is currently on with 28% off bringing the $45.99 down to $33.11 USD.
