A beta tester for Aerosoft’s next big CRJ update for Microsoft Flight Simulator has been allowed to post a video showing off some changes to the aircraft. Let’s have a look!

Revamped flight model

Earlier this year, Aerosoft released a very long awaited (we waited several years for this) V2 update for the CRJ airliner. The update significantly improved the airplane, added a rear cabin, and helped to keep it up with some of the competition. As one of the few modern regional jets available, it also fills a niche that is less filled out.

From the video, posted by YourSimCFI, the aircraft has adjustments made in a lot of different areas from the climb rate, descent rate and drag profile, and ground handling. According to the presentation, some of the adjustments for the engine parameters are not yet in but planned.

The update has no release date just yet.
