It’s a busy day of high profile releases and we start with Black Square’s highly anticipated Starship. This high fidelity aircraft simulation includes some unique features so let’s have a look!

Ready for launch!

Starship is here and its ready for launch! Black Square’s latest project is reportedly a passion project and its focused on Beechcraft’s Burt Rutan designed Starship. The aircraft was firmly ahead of its time with extensive carbon fibre composite material usage, canard design with pusher propeller configuration, one of the world’s first glass cockpit designs and making use of the Omega VLF navigation system just a few years ahead of when GPS would quickly overtake it.

Black Square has become known for high fidelity simulation in MSFS and the Starship is following in the footsteps of past products. The simulation includes a 190-page manual, tablet interface with systems visualization, Omega VLF simulation for pre-GPS era navigation as well as GPS options, 230+ random, scheduled or performance triggered failures, custom turboprop dynamics and system failures, and many more features.

The aircraft is available for sale on the Just Flight store for $54.99 USD with compatibility for both MSFS 2020 and 2024 users.
