We’ve grown accustomed to updates that are few and far between from Majestic Simulations, however, on the heels of an update in the last few weeks we have a new one showing off the 3D model in Microsoft Flight Simulator for the first time. Let’s have a look!

Q400 now in-engine

The De Havilland Canada Dash 8 Q400 twin engine turboprop airliner is used all across the world flying into both busy airports and some of the most remote airports. Its one of the few turboprop airliners in regular use and I’m excited to see one in the sim.

The model is still very much a work in progress according to the developers and it’s important to keep that in mind. Clearly some sections of the airliner are more detailed than others as the artists work away at building out the visuals.

Hopefully this increased cadence of updates also means that this project is now moving into a new phase and that a Q400 experience is on the horizon – as distant as it likely still is.

Check out the developers Facebook page or forum for further info.
