Publisher and developer Slitherine held their annual Slitherine Next event a couple of days ago with an update on the company’s development. Included was a short section about Scramble: Battle of Britain – the turn based air combat simulator. Let’s have a look at some of the details!

Coming soon to Scramble

Development on the early access Scramble: Battle of Britain game is continuing. The company recently added the Do 17 bomber to the mix with the Ju 88, multiplayer and pilot & squadron updates all planned soon.

In the future they have plans to include the Bf110 as a controllable type (already in as an AI) as well as additions of the Blenheim and He111 bombers. That’s not all as they intend to also further tweak their damage and simulation systems, improve sound effects and soundtrack, add landscape and environmental art, add additional pilot nationalities and add in the Channel Defense campaign.

Since initial launch, Scramble: Battle of Britain has been tuning their UI, enhancing the battle scenarios with more unique combinations of scenarios and giving the AI more tricks to perform – bombers for example will now ditch bombs and turn for home if sufficiently threatened.

Check out their video announcement below.

Scramble: Battle of Britain is also currently 15% off on the Steam Store.
