Developer blog 41 from the 1C Game Studios team on their IL-2 Korea project released yesterday and brought with it a bunch of new screenshots showing off the ground vehicles for ‘blue’ (aka the US/South Korea) side. Let’s have a look!
Vehicles for on and off the airstrip
Vehicles on display in this update include the famous Willys MB jeep, Dodge WC 52, GMC CCKW 6×6, Dodge WC54 ambulance, U-7144T 5-ton tractor and M6 Speed Tractor. All of these vehicles are capable of towing a variety of objects behind them including artillery and anti-aircraft guns.
Korea is proving to be an interesting evolution of the ground vehicle technology and there’s certainly going to be more variety of vehicle convoys and individual vehicles to be seen (and targeted or protected) on the ground.
