If you’re looking for a big widebody airliner for X-Plane 12 you may be looking at Flight Factor’s recently released 777v2 which has seen several updates including a significant one released at the end of July that adds the Rolls Royce Trent as an engine option. Let’s have a look and see what’s available.
New engines available

Flight Factor have released their 777-200ER v2 for X-Plane 12 with a default base package that includes the GE90 engine in the package and then have a bundled or separately available engine package for those who want more variants. This engine package has just released its second engine with the Rolls-Royce Trent 892 engine joining the Pratt & Whitney PW4090.
The company touts statistically based mathematical model of the Engine Pressure Ratio (EPR) which they say is within 3% of the real thing. The add-on includes unique sounds for the engines.
If that sounds interesting to you, the Flight Factor 777 v2 is available as a base package with just the one engine for $89.00 USD with the engine expansion currently available (at a discount) for $15.00 and the bundle can be purchased for $104.00.
