It’s not that Chinook but another aircraft named Chinook altogether. CRZ Studio Ltd have launched their first aircraft into Microsoft Flight Simulator which they say is a bolt for bolt recreation of a Chinook SJ light sport aircraft. Let’s have a look!

Light, sporty!

A lot of aircraft categories get quite a bit of attention but its rarer that the light sport aircraft category commands any attention. CRZ Studio Ltd are making a splash with their first MSFS aircraft with this two seat pusher prop ultralight.

The company say that they’ve built the aircraft for MSFS 2024 from the ground up using the 2024 SDK and making use of the detail systems and modular features of 2024 to build the airplane. The featureset is limited, it is an ultralight afterall, but it does list several dozen liveries.

The aircraft is being sold through the company’s website for £19.95. It’s also available on the MSFS Marketplace.
