Rounding up some iniBuilds news with recent updates that have come out for the A300-600R(F), the F406 Caravan II as well as the release of the Impulse 100 and a look at Wolf’s Fang which seems to connect well with the companies upcoming A340-300.
Fly the pocket rocket
The latest aircraft to come from the iniBuilds team is the Impulse 100. This ultralight features a 300hp Allison 250-C20R engine that, combined with the lightweight nature, gives the aircraft incredible capability.
The folks at iniBuilds tout the aircraft’s 4K PBR textures, realistic flight model, custom engine simulation, detailed electrical system and WorkingTitle G1000 integration as some of the features of the aircraft.
The aircraft is available for sale from the iniBuilds store for £11.99 GBP.
All the way to the south
A new scenery release from iniBuilds is a bit of a departure from some of their recent releases. Instead of another major airport hub, this time they are in the process of getting Wolf’s Fang (AT98) for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 ready for release.
The airport has custom scenery for the airport with ground details including snow and ice effects. There are nearby buildings and facilities fully detailed and custom lighting unique to the airport.
The airport is interesting because it, together with in-development FACT Cape Town airport, make up both ends of a lengthy 2,600 nautical mile journey from South America down to the Antarctic. The aircraft of choice is the A340-300 flown by HiFly – a charter airline.
Two aircraft updates
While inBuilds has done a bunch of updates to their A350 recently, its the A300-600R(F) and F406 Caravan II that have seen the most recent updates.
For the A300, its the 2024 Premium version of the aircraft that has seen over a dozen different updates to it. The fixes solve stutters, fix system problems, and add new a new Lido chart option to the EFB. The full change log is here!
Meanwhile, the F406 also has several updates applied to it. V1.0.5 is the latest version and it fixes the pitot cover model nodes missing. The problem with the missing nodes were causing problems on cold and dark starts so that is now sorted out. The F406 changelog is here.
