We’ve known for quite some time that FSReborn, the developer behind the well regarded FSR500 (a Piper M500) and the Sirius TL3000, has been working on a Phenom 300E business jet. I remember seeing a sneak peek back at FSExpo 2024 even! Now that project is coming to fruition as the developer has released a teaser trailer ahead of a future release. Let’s have a look.

Phenom in style

FSReborn’s couple of years worth of development on the Phenom 300E looks to be about to pay off as the developer releases their first teaser trailer for the project. The aircraft is touting true to life avionics (including the Prodigy Touch interface), accurate engine simulation, detailed modeling, and realistic flight behaviour.

The trailer shows off the lighting, interior details, cockpit, exterior model, and some of the avionics features like chart display, and synoptics.

Full reveal and release details are reportedly on their way. I expect we’ll be hearing more about this soon.

High performance, single pilot operation, plenty of style… there’s lots to like about the Phenom 300 series. Indeed, one of my all time favourite X-Plane aircraft is the Aerobask Phenom 300. So this one has some living up to do! Hopefully its a solid business jet experience. Stay tuned!

  1. so glad we’re getting a Hi Fi jet with Garmin Glass; especially since it’s coming from FSR 😁

his FSR500 has been one of my all time favorites due in large part to its convincing flight model. If this Phenom is at least as good (and why wouldn’t it be!?), I’ll probably have a jet to replace the (excellent) Default Citation Longitude.

hopefully he can loop back around to the FSR500 and add Native v2024 functionality to it (it flies great, but no integrated tablet for flight plans). Probably could take advantage of the new flight model features, too.
oh, and yeah, I’d be happy to make it a paid upgrade, too. 👍

    1. I remember the FSR500 was a favourite of yours! I never did get around to it but it sounds like it was a great aircraft in 2020 and maybe after the Phenom is done we’ll see a revisit to that.

I can’t resist a good Phenom. A seriously fun business jet to fly!

  2. yep, the only legitimate negatives I’ve seen feedback about the 500 is that some guys just don’t like the ultra-modern simplicity of operation. It’s quite similar to the TBM in that regard. I personally like it as it allows concentration on flying/navigation.

As you know, the phenom is necessarily a bit more complex, but not much. Still quite approachable while being very capable.

this type of aircraft has become my favorite for civ simming. (Gotta save my limited brain power for DCS moderns! 😂).

probably heretical to say, but I would love it if A2A or Black Square would apply their magic to glass cockpit aircraft, too. 🤙

    1. Yeah that kind of critique is more about personal preference rather than anything wrong with the aircraft itself. A modern turboprop with glass cockpits, GPS, TCAS, and all of the other shiny bits and pieces is not going to have the same appeal as a grimy old bushplane – though I think both experiences are super cool!

A2A and Black Square doing glass cockpits. That’d be interesting to see! I am flying the Dukes now (stories to come) and they are magnificent.
