If you’re disappointed with the camera options in Microsoft Flight Simulator, Parallel 42’s Chase Plane might be the utility for you. Recently released for MSFS 2024, here are a few things you might want to know about it.

Replace the camera system with a better one

MSFS 2024’s camera system is adequate but just barely so and there have been many who have been asking for something better. Enter Parallel 42’s latest utility which they are calling Chase Plane.

The utility replaces the default camera system with its own system. They tout some of its key features including the ability to work with any aircraft, a custom UI so you can configure views however you want, as well as features like tower cam, fly-by-camera, binocular mode, cinematic mode, smart view, action cams, and physics based camera modes.

That’s quite a few features and some interesting ones at that. It doesn’t come cheap, however, as the utility is priced at $30 USD.
