Combining the expertise of ToLiss and developers from Aerosoft, the A340-600 Pro has come to Microsoft Flight Simulator. Let’s take a look at this new airliner releases.

A second A340 joins the fray!

Following iniBuilds A340-300 release back in October of last year, Microsoft Flight Simulator now has a second A340 variant. Aerosoft and ToLiss have come together to offer the long fuselage A340-600 variant.

The aircraft boasts a custom flight model, detailed aircraft systems including three fully functional and independent MCDUs, an EFB with Navigraph and SimBrief support, over a dozen liveries and more.

ToLiss are well known in the X-Plane community offering a range of extremely detailed Airbus products from the A320 through the A340 and are jointly working on the A350 project for that simulator. One of the advantages that ToLiss brought to the effort with Aerosoft was the developer’s custom sim environment that sits outside of both X-Plane and Microsoft Flight Simulator. That has let them bring their X-Plane A340-600 into MSFS relatively rapidly. Meanwhile, ToLiss continue to develop for X-Plane and the developer remains committed to that platform.

Aerosoft’s reputation has been mixed with recent airliner project releases so it’s going to be interesting to see how this partnership pays off over the long run. Aircraft like these need updates over time and both Aerosoft and ToLiss will need to stay on top of this to make it competitive with Fenix, PMDG, Just Flight and iniBuilds among others.

The aircraft is currently listed at €58.82 (excluding VAT) and the price will go up to €67.22 later on. Get more information on the Aerosoft website.
