Third party aircraft developer SimWorks Studios has just re-released their Kodiak 100 for Microsoft Flight Simulator with a substantial update to the aircraft covering quite a bit of the airplane in new features inside and out. Let’s have a look!
Kodiak has arrived
SimWorks Studios has largely rebuilt their popular Kodiak 100 for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. With 30 liveries, custom G1000 NXi integration, custom ESI500 instrument, custom engine simulation with correct ITT, limiting, and engine damage, five interior options, as well as nice new extras like auto-start and auto-stop systems, the aircraft really does have quite a few options.
Going off of the feature list and talking more about aircraft capability, the Kodiak is an impressive backcountry aircraft with turboprop power combined with an airframe setup for STOL operations. You can fly this into just about anywhere.
The aircraft is available from SimWorks Studios themselves as well as Just Flight and other marketplaces. SimWorks Studios report that customers who bought the 2020 version can get a 50% discount off the price of the 2024 upgrade.
