A bunch of news items to catch up on from the folks at Got Friends! Their Taylorcraft BC-12D has move into beta testing with various community members trying out the aircraft and helping the developer iron out the bugs ahead of release. The team has also recently revamped their website and are offering a pretty big sale. Let’s have a look!

BC-12D into beta

Back on March 23rd, Got Friends announced that the Taylorcraft BC-12D has moved into beta testing. We’ve seen quite a few updates from the team’s Discord and social media accounts showing off some of the features of the aircraft.

One of the new features here is that the team have programmed some cool physics based features where items hanging in the cockpit as well as the doors and exterior panels can, if not closed/locked properly, can fly around in the wind and in various maneuvers. Nose down with the engine covers not locked down and they will fly up and block your view! Consequences of not doing the pre-flight correctly.

Meanwhile, the team has promoted YoYo YoYoSims PL excellent screenshots (a few attached above) to showcase the latest state of the project. This aircraft looks to be coming together nicely.

New website and sale

Between now and April 15, Got Friends are offering up a sale on most of their website store content. From the F4F-4 Wildcat through to the Project Crosskart buggy, Got Friends are offering up discounts across pretty much the entire line-up. Even their recently released A-32 Vixxen has a few dollars off the price.

This is all happening as at the same time as a major website update for the developer. It looks modern and slick! Check it out here!
