Meanwhile, Great Battles has been slowly picking up additional content.
Content in development
- IL-2 Sturmovik: Odessa and Leningrad – Siege and Liberation – The latest title in the long running Great Battles offers a mix of early and late war aircraft content, careers, and two maps centered around Odessa in the south and Leningrad in the north.
- Other rumoured content – Reportedly some extra content is being planned or is now in the works for Great Battles. It may be aimed at supporting the Lenningrad/Finnish Gulf region though that is unconfirmed.

On March 29, 1C Game Studios revealed that additional Flying Circus content was planned in the form of two future releases. Volume 3 and 4 released over the last couple of years and the content now has a deluxe edition making for easier purchases for first time buyers. The Western Front map has been extended in recent time to include Paris, added details across the entire map, and has added Zeppelin’s to the mix for the first time.
