The IL-2 Sturmovik is a legendary aircraft of World War II and it was time that I produced a video about this aircraft.

Armored and well armed, 36,183 IL-2 Sturmovik attack aircraft were produced during World War II. Stalin declared it “as essential to the Red Army as air and bread” and demanded factory managers to produce more.

I spent weeks shooting clips and flying missions in this aircraft and I have an even higher opinion of this aircraft than I did before. It’s an incredible plane to fly in IL-2: Battle of Stalingrad and though people seem to rarely talk about it… it’s truly a powerhouse weapon.
