Another episode of DCS: F/A-18C familiarization

Eagle Dynamics’ Matt Wagner walks everyone through a new episode on how to fly the F/A-18C Hornet with a look at three key instrument panels: Head Up Display (HUD), Upfront Controller (UFC), and Integrated Fuel / Engine Indicator (IFEI). Let’s have a look!

The HUD, UC and IFEI are all crucial for flying the Hornet. The video is in-depth but it doesn’t actually take a lot of time to get through.

Switches, dials, and buttons to push here are, compared to some modules, fairly straight forward and literally are all up front in the Hornet’s cockpit.

Also fun to watch is the background because we’re seeing yet another look at DCS World 2.5 and the beautiful Caucasus map – this time with a lower sun and some beautiful fog in the valleys.

For sure. I’m pretty excited to fly over them… But I’ll wait for the stable release rather than getting the beta 1.5 to 2.5 thing going.
