VKB Gladiator Mk II in North American store stock

If you were looking for a new joystick and had a budget set around $100 there are very few contenders that I would be able to recommend outside of the VKB-Sim Gladiator series. Now, after a long wait, the Gladiator Mark II (non-Pro) is back in stock on the North American online store so if you were holding out for one or needed to pick up a new stick before the holidays – this is a good time.

Short supply but welcome news

VKB-Sim has not been able to keep their online stores supplied with the latest hardware for the last few months. A combination of factors, including some particularly nasty weather that disrupted production at a factory that they work with, have contributed to this. Though it’s been hard to come by much new stock recently, this new shipment may be a sign that things are changing.

The Gladiator Mark II being available back in the North American store is encouraging news and hopefully means that there is renewed capacity to produce more hardware in the future.

For the price, the Gladiator remains one of the best joysticks I’ve used especially when it comes to the feel and precision of the stick. Not much else can compete at $99 USD. As a bonus, even when something has gone wrong with my VKB-Sim Gladiator, it’s been easy to service and fix on my own.

I’m thinking about getting this as an addition to my Warthog HOTAS, for games like War Thunder, Battlefield V etc.. Can you guys recommend it?

It’s the best stick for the price. Smooth, precise, and driverless. See the full review for the Mark I linked in the article for a more complete analysis.

35 yrs of flight simming and this is hands down the best stick I’ve ever used. I haven’t tried any other VKB sticks but I’m assuming they feel the same.
I love this stick so much I ordered a second for backup.
