For this week’s IL-2 Developer Diary we’re getting a look at all kinds of great new content. It’s our first look at the fully textured and in-engine Hawker Tempest Mark V for IL-2: Battle of Bodenplatte and the aircraft looks spectacular. Speaking of spectacular, we’re also getting our first look at new 4K textures for the FW190A-3 and cockpit images for the Halberstadt CL.II and Bristol Fighter F.2B. And there’s a new trailer for IL-2: Battle of Moscow just to wrap things up!
Tempest first look
It’s our first look at the Tempest Mark V in-engine, fully textured, and I’m overjoyed at how good it looks. Last week we saw the un-textured cockpit and this week we’re getting a good look at the fully textured exterior.
The Tempest is going to make a splash in the IL-2 world with its low and medium altitude performance, excellent visibility, and powerful armament. Best guess is that it will arrive sometime early this fall.
New 4K textures for FW190A-3
Last week we saw the Bf109G-14 with all new 4K textures and this week we’re seeing one of the older models in the series – the FW190A-3 getting the 4K texture treatment. This once again comes courtesy of Martin =ICDP= Catney.
Cockpits for the Halberstadt CL.II and Bristol Fighter F.2B
The last two aircraft for the Flying Circus Vol 1 project are looking ready to go as the cockpits for both the Halberstadt CL.II and Bristol Fighter F.2B have now been revealed. What is now an expected level of quality from 1CGS and their partners at Ugra Media is on full display here.
New trailer for IL-2: Battle of Moscow
=HH=Pauk’s latest trailer creation is a follow on to the IL-2: Battle of Stalingrad trailer he did several weeks ago. This new trailer shows off Battle of Moscow and each of the aircraft included as part of the project. Check it out!
Interior for Pz.Kpfw.IV Ausf.G
New screenshots are out for the Pz.Kpfw.IV Ausf.G for Tank Crew including the interior of the tank. Just last week we were looking at the finished exterior.
