Earlier today, IL-2’s Lead Producer Jason Williams, launched the most aggressive sale that we’ve seen for the IL-2 series with 75% off most of the major products for the series including the campaigns, Cliffs of Dover, and all of the released IL-2: Great Battles Series titles. This is all part of a pre-release celebration for IL-2: Battle of Bodenplatte, Flying Circus Vol 1, Tank Crew’s new campaigns and the release of Achtung Spitfire! It’s 75% off almost everything
So this is what’s on sale according to Jason’s post earlier today:

Sale commentary
This is a very aggressive sale and if you haven’t jumped into the series at this point and want to take a risk, check out any of the titles including Battle of Stalingrad, Moscow or Kuban and have a look at what this generation of IL-2 is capable of. Similarly, if you’re missing any one of these and want to expand your hangar, this is your chance. There are great aircraft in every one of these releases.
It’s rare for the series to go this aggressive with sales (though we’ve seen 66% off several times before) so this is a fantastic opportunity to fill up the hangar and add a few full titles from the Great Battle Series. It’s a lot of bang for your entertainment dollar so it’s worth considering.
As always, I try and make sure that everyone out there knows about sales and deals that are available for IL-2, DCS World, and other flight sim titles that I sometimes follow and this is one of the best that I’ve seen.

A little surprising the sale but almost even more interesting what was written about it.
1. the discount for BoBP and FC Vol.1 ends in a few weeks.
2. Jason mentions that:”Battle of Bodenplatte, Flying Circus and the Achtung Spitfire! Campaign are nearing official retail release in just a few weeks […].”
3. we already know that an update was planned for the end of october and in regard to their tradition with the sales I would guess the 4th of november 🙂
Of course, these are speculations. Nevertheless, there are many indications that we can actually celebrate the release of BoBP in a few weeks!
