A lot of news has been coming out from RAZBAM in recent days and weeks with updates for everything from the M-2000C to the AV-8B to the Bo-105 – yep, you read that right. Here is all of the latest news!
AV-8B gets JDAM and CAS page updates

First up, the CAS page on the AV-8B’s multi-function displays are now going to be editable with the player able to insert and edit the contents of the page. Should be helpful on long and complex missions.
Next up, up to 10-target points can now be set and engaged simultaneously with JDAM’s thanks to updated functionality.
South Atlantic content updates
RAZBAM is continuing to build assets and content for their upcoming DCS: South Atlantic series and have been busy showing off a lot of new content in recent days and weeks. That starts with the AI model for the Canberra which was used by the Argentinian air force during the conflict. Two were lost in combat including one being shot down by a Harrier.
Next up, the Mirage derived IAI Dagger (Nesher in Israeli service) is also underway. The Dagger was one of the key fighters for the Argentina air force and so this will be a chief opponent for the Harrier.

Finally, more images of the mesh for a 1982 era appropriate Fleet Air Arm Harrier have appeared. It’s unclear right now if RAZBAM intends to make this or any of these aircraft flyable DCS World modules but it is likely that they will take their expertise with the AV-8B and produce a second Harrier for DCS World – albeit one that is VERY different in its role and operation.

Bo-105 now under RAZBAM’s wing
Miltech-5 has been slowly working away on the art for the Bo-105 but haven’t been able to secure the programming and development support for their Bo-105 project. That all is changing now as Miltech-5 and RAZBAM have now agreed officially to work on the project together. Here’s the statement:
Just to keep you informed, today the partnership with Razbam and miltech-5 was made official
We look forward to helping Miltech bring this awesome Helicopter to the game.
We have opened a section on our discord channel for you to openly discuss the amazing module.
DECOY on the RAZBAM Facebook page
This light militarized version of a civilian helicopter has specialized anti-tank capabilities and adds another interesting helicopter to the DCS World helicopter mix.
Mirage pilot update, plus real world training
The DCS: M-2000C was one of the first 3rd party aircraft to come to DCS World and it’s seen some major updates in recent months. Another update coming soon are further updates to the pilot body in the cockpit that now includes new patches.

Also exciting for RAZBAM and kind of cool from a simulation perspective is news that thanks to these updates and a partnership with the AdA, the M-2000C for DCS World is now being used in real world Mirage 2000 training. In a statement on the Escadron De Chasee 2/5, they said (translated):
As part of the innovation project and “serious gaming”, the EC 2/5 “Ile de France” was equipped with 6 DCS Stations. These simulation stations allow you to simulate Air / Air tactics before performing them in “Live”. The Mirage 2000C Navigation and Armament System has been completely updated for the occasion by RAZBAMSIM.

The partnership has had net benefits as the M-2000C module for DCS World has seen some tangible updates to the cockpit of the aircraft with more realistic procedures for systems, NVG goggles, and an updated radio and countermeasure interface all to better represent the M-2000C in service.
